The Special Representative of the Secretary-General and Head of UNMIK, Caroline Ziadeh, met with the President of the Kosovo Specialist Chambers, Judge Ekaterina Trendafilova at UNMIK.
SRSG Ziadeh and Judge Trendafilova discussed the Specialist Chambers’ functioning and ongoing work, with SRSG Ziadeh reiterating UNMIK’s strong support to the strengthening of the rule of law in Kosovo, highlighting UNMIK’s efforts towards improving institutional capabilities and access to justice in Kosovo.
The meeting was part of Judge Trendafilova’s ongoing visit to Kosovo.
