The Special Representative of the Secretary-General and Head of UNMIK Ms. Caroline Ziadeh received today the Minister of Defense of the Republic of Moldova, Mr. Anatolie Nosatîi.
They discussed recent developments in Kosovo and the region. The SRSG thanked Minister Nosatîi for Moldova's support to UNMIK and the wider United Nations framework. Underlining the importance of the EU-facilitated dialogue, they both agreed that the dialogue stands as the sole pathway to alleviate tensions and foster sustainable peace, stability, and security in Kosovo and the wider region.
