Another case of COVID-19 has been confirmed in Laayoune, which brings the total of active cases to two. Both individuals have been isolated and are under medical care. All 24 of the previously-reported cases in the mission area have recovered, with the exception of one patient in Tindouf who passed away. There are no confirmed active cases in the Tindouf area. To date, there have not been any confirmed cases in the Saharawi refugee camps or in the Territory East of the Berm. MINURSO maintains constant liaison with the Moroccan government, POLISARIO and Algerian government to share information and coordinate action.
