The effervescent or rather fizzy and adventurous activities as planned by the RSA Battalion Gender Officer Gift Molepo and Chaplain Dorah Mphahlele for the 9th August National Women's Day celebrations were held at the Kilimanjaro Resort, Tanzanian Base in the Democratic Republic of Congo.

The day was filled with Poems, Songs, dances, body building show and related speeches. The FIB women came from 7 South African battalion((SAI), Tanzania and Malawi battalions. The platform was shared amongst the three countries, but South Africa played a lead role because the day itself is a South African event.

The Officer Commanding 7 SAI, Lieutenant Colonel Tiisetso Sekgobela, rounded of the day's events by touching on each women and male performers who attended the day. She advised and encouraged Malawi and Tanzania to start recognizing and entrusting women by placing them on key roles which were previously male dominant. She Made mention of 7 SAI Battalion that it is well represented with trustworthy women in critical areas of the Battalion and that they are all excelling.

Lieutenant Colonel Sekgobela thanked the guest speaker Lieutenant Colonel Seremane for delivering a very important speech to educate all females who attended. Above all, she embraces all the women
