FOREIGN AFFAIRS DEPARTMENT TO RECRUIT TIMORESE STAFF

The Department of Foreign Affairs of the East Timor Transitional Administration (ETTA) started the internal recruitment of 20 local staff this week. The Department has been given the authority by ETTA’s Office of Civil Service and Public Employment to conduct the recruitment for various positions, including policy officers, executive assistants, assistant protocol officers and directors of public affairs.

The positions are open to both male and female applicants from the batch of 50 East Timorese who graduated from the Diplomatic Training Course in Dili in August. In addition, the Office of Civil Service and Public Employment is carrying out interviews on 22 December of 16 East Timorese for positions in the public administration.
